President Maduro exalts the defense of Venezuela at the United Nations


In a direct contact through Radio Miraflores, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro Moros, congratulated the delegation that represented the country at the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) of the United Nations Human Rights Council, held in Geneva, Switzerland. From the Presidential House, The President of Venezuela took pride for the presentation of the Foreign Minister, Delcy Rodriguez; the Minister for Indigenous People, Aloha Núñez, the Minister For Women’s Affairs and Gender Equality, Blanca Eekhout; the Minister for Corrective Services, Iris Varela; the Minister of Public Health, Luisana Melo; and the Executive Secretary of Venezuela to the Human Rights Council, Larry Davoe.
Maduro explained that during the review the economic war faced by Venezuela was denounced, along with the world financial persecution that defines our homeland as a risky country although “we have paid, in such a clear way, by paying the external debt and all the other debts, but the gringo rating companies increase year after year our country risk.”
On the other hand, Foreign Minister Rodriguez mentioned that the representation of the Bolivarian Government defeated the series of lies and infamies, as well as the pretensions of the Venezuelan opposition of destroying the country “it is not to oppose a President or Government, they try to destroy the country and our model”.
