During a briefing of the United Nations Security Council, Rafael Ramirez, Permanent Representative of Venezuela, demanded to cease the bombings and attacks against healthcare facilities and medical and humanitarian staff in armed conflict areas.
Foreign Minister of Venezuela, Ms. Delcy Rodriguez Gomez, denounced to the United Nations that “Venezuela has been chosen as a new imperial target to violate its sovereignty and seek its territorial disintegration, in order to illegally and violently appropriate of the wide array of strategic natural resources we possess”. During her participation in the 71st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, she recalled that “the imperial history filled with violence pretends to repeat itself: a major campaign of lies and fallacies is taking place against Venezuela, its people and its government.”
The minister for foreign affairs of the Bolivarian republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez Gómez, claimed that the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) and the G77+China are two economic, social, and political forces that jointly could change the current capitalist model that pretends to dominate the world. Those declarations were given by the Minister of Foreign Affairs to the multi-state television network TELESUR, from the community of the Bronx; the Minister was visiting, along with social and political organizations that support Venezuela, community gardens.
The Minister of People’s Power for Foreign Affairs, Ms. Delcy Rodriguez, said regarding the opening on Tuesday of the XVII NAM Summit that Venezuela is marking a milestone in the history of international geopolitics.
